Personal Talk

An important way one can build their relationship with God is by Personal time with Jesus. We can understand God's Plans and Purposes towards our daily life by spending time with Him on daily basis. Separating off oneself from the whole world and coming to that place where one can sit with Jesus; talk to him and receive constant counselling from Him through direct one on one talk is what builds our inner man than anything else in this whole pursuit of life which we live in.

As Lord says, My sheep hears My voice (John 10:27 The sheep that are My own hear {and} are listening to My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me). It's very important to hear Him through Word by Meditation and by means of one on one talk through the Holy Spirit. This can be achieved only by spending time with Him, sitting next to him as Mary sat and pressed on to Hear Him first than Martha who made her first's to be other than listening to Him. Luke 10:38-42.

Going through the whole situation of Martha and Mary, What comes to our mind is the word "Priorities". (Priority means, Something that is very important and must be dealt with before other things, from this definition, let's do a self-check!)

*What are your priorities?

*Are your priorities helping you to build a strong relationship with Jesus or are they not?

*Are you a woman/man who is running behind the Heart of God to know His purposes and plans for your life? or Are you running behind your own, self-made aims/plans for your life?

*Are your Goals/Aims and Visions lead you to that which God has called for? or

*Are you mixed up in the flow of this busy life ignoring to take counsel from God?

What are your Priorities? What does Bible say about it?   

Matthew 6:33 Seek First His KINGDOM and His RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these things will be given to you as well.

1 Kings 22:5 First, seek the Counsel of the LORD. 

Isaiah65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.

Isaiah 30: 21 Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, "This is the way; walk in it."

Are you seeking His kingdom and His righteousness, Are are seeking Him in Prayer for personal Counsel!!  OR are you just sitting there and asking God to come and help you in your situations.!

This is what Jesus says in Matthew, to seek His kingdom first, Seek Him and His righteousness, everything else will be added to us.

*This should be our Priority, Priority to have a daily discipline to build a constant prayer life by sitting with the Word of God, Meditating it every day and Seeking Counsel from God in building a relationship with Jesus.

**Talk to Jesus Today, Hear what He has to say to you. Go to that place where you shut down all the things around you, shut down everything which is blocking you to hear from Jesus. Sit next to Jesus, Receive His perspective and View that situation you are pondering on for days. Seek His face, Seek His Word apply it and Build it in a daily walk.
